Yasuni National Park is located in the provinces of Orellana and Pastaza, in eastern Ecuador. This reserve is one of the most beautiful and diverse places on earth. Whether it's tarantulas, toucans, spider monkeys, jaguars, or kapok trees, the diversity of organisms inhabiting Yasuní is astonishing. Yasuni National Park homes many species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and insects. Yasuni National Park offers many things to do such as hiking the "amarun nambi trail", visiting the observation tower "cury mullo", going to the "saladero de loros", and of course, playing with pink river dolphins. Although, dolphins are 8 hours boat ride away from Coca in the Martinica community conservation land.
To go to the reserve, from Quito, go to the Puerto Francisco de Orellana city (Coca). By air cost between $100 to $200. By bus costs between $12 to $18. Once in Coca, there are several routes, most of them, by the river.
