Orellana is a province of Ecuador. Its capital is Puerto Francisco de Orellana known as “Coca”. This province is surrounded by beautiful landscapes, flora, and fauna. Its land is rich in oil, being the oil industry one of the pillars on the Ecuadorian economy.
Tourists visit the Orellana province mainly to start a jungle exploration or to have indigenous encounters with local tribes like Taguareis, Kichwa, and Sachas. Main attractions include the Yasuni National Park, the Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve, and the Sumaco Napo-Galeras National Park. Climate is hot humid.
