Guayaquil Historical Park is a place where visitors can learn about the traditions and legends of Guayaquil, Ecuador. Guayaquil is Ecuador's largest city, major port, and leading commercial center. The park is made up of three parts: the Wildlife Zone that shows examples of local fauna and flora, the Traditions Zone with examples of construction at the beginning of the 20th century, and the Urban Architectural Zone with examples of living conditions in the poorest coastal communities.
Guayaquil Historical Park also offers two theatrical performances that take place twice a day. The park has some cafés and kiosks to grab a snack or eat something. Open from Wednesdays to Sundays from 09:00 am to 16:30 pm. Entrance fee $4,50. Address: Central Avenue and Rio Esmeraldas Avenue (route to Samborondon).
