Samborondón

Samborondón is a canton in the province of Guayas, Ecuador. Samborondón is located in the lower basin of the Guayas River, which separates it from Guayaquil. Also known as "The Equestrian Capital of Ecuador" for its constant equine activity. The road near Samborondón houses the most expensive real estate in Ecuador, with some luxurious mansions and private sectors. In addition to being home to the most exclusive nightclubs on the outskirts of Guayaquil, it also has restaurants-resorts (resorts) that offer luxurious and innovative cuisine.

One of the main festivals of Samborondón is the Cantonization of Samborondón on October 31.
