Morona Santiago is a province in Ecuador. Macas is its capital. The province was established on February 24, 1954. Morona Santiago is located in the Amazonic region, southeastern Ecuador, on the border with Peru. This province offers jungle trekking, trips to indigenous communities, and sports like kayaking and rafting.

Morona Santiago’s main attractions are Sangay Nacional Park, Cueva de los Tayos (Tayos cave), El Pan de Azúcar (sugar and bread), and The Kutuku Scientific Station.
