Playa Rosada or pink beach is a coastal town located in Santa Elena province, Ecuador. Playa Rosada is a tranquil, secluded, pink-sand gem. This beach keeps its virgin nature and it is normally not crowded unless you go in high season, this is from January to April. Due to its natural habitat, there are no restaurants around, bring some snacks and water with you. The entrance is free but parking costs $2. There are a few bathrooms available for $0,50 and showers for $1.
Guayaquil is 2 hours bus ride. A 40-minute bus ride from Montañita. From Ayangue, it is a 15 minutes ride, going south. Taxis charge from $3 to $5 (Ayange to Playa Rosada).
