Fernandina Island

Fernandina Island is one of the most remote places in the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador. It is one of the largest islands of the Galapagos, besides being an unpopulated island, famous for its continuous series of volcanic eruptions. Fernandina hosts the most active and pristine volcano in the Galapagos.

Punta Espinoza is one of the most visited places on Fernandina Island. Punta Espinoza has a large population of terrestrial iguanas that nest on both the boundary of the caldera and its depths. It is also one of the best places to see mangroves and lava cactus.

Punta Mangle is another popular destination on Fernandina Island, this is a very good place to dive and have a nice experience with the marine life of the Galapagos.
