El Guabo

El Guabo is a small town located in the province of El Oro, Ecuador. The main economic activity of Guabo is the production of bananas. In fact, Ecuador is one of the largest exporters of bananas worldwide. El Guabo covers a large percentage of this demand.

Among the tourist attractions is the Banana Tour, visit Manuel's waterfalls, and tour the surrounding villages. The main local festival is the Cantonization of El Guabo on September 7.
