Bahía de Caráquez is a charming beach city located on a peninsula in Manabí, Ecuador. Known simply as "Bahía". Bahía de Caráquez has long with sandy beaches that run miles between the town and the fishing village of San Jacinto. On the northern side of the peninsula, there is a bridge connecting Bahía to other popular beaches as Canoa.
Bahía de Caráquez receives most visitors on weekends for bird-watching in the Corazon Island. Besides this, another activity some visitors practice is paragliding near the cliffs of Canoa.
