Los Frailes Beach

The beach of Los Frailes is part of the protected area of ​​the Machalilla National Park. It is located 6 mi (10 km) north of Puerto López, in the province of Manabí, Ecuador. The beach of Los Frailes has clear blue waters and very calm, creating a feeling of peace and relaxation. Los Frailes is a closed beach park, surrounded by a rocky landscape. Within the beach park, there is a hill that offers panoramic views of the entire landscape. To get there, take the path to the right, after the main gate.

To get to Los Frailes from Puerto Lopez, take a bus for $ 0.50. Moto-taxi charges between $3 to $5 per trip. The beach is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. No entrance fee.
